The Sales Coordinator supports the sales management team and Customer Account Managers by assisting with paperwork and various administrative tasks. This role may require travel to all locations within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Mark sold equipment in Connect.
- Use Connect to process trades, on-hold requests, orders, service requests, lien searches, and trucking arrangements.
- Generate purchase orders by submitting stock numbers to JDQuote.
- Assist the Settlement Team with outstanding requests within the assigned region.
- Track incoming inventory and mark units as sold if still on the lot after 15 days.
- Review Turf CAM paperwork to ensure accurate documentation, correct incentive application, and task completion.
- Coordinate with the Lot Coordinator to confirm equipment is ready for transport.
- Run the Sold Not Invoiced report to notify CAMs of sold items lacking documentation or payment.
- Use JDMint to track FDD and update order codes.
- Build and price units, add stock and trade information, and apply all applicable incentives in JDQuote.
- Process retail financing notes on behalf of Customer Account Managers (CAMs).
- Use Customer Portfolio Connection to process quote payoffs.
- Look up financed or leased equipment through John Deere Financial in Customer Portfolio Connection.
- Assist CAMs with submitting Expense Reports via Concur.
- Pull Warranty Reports as needed.
- Support dealership management in achieving corporate goals, plans, and long-term objectives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of the agriculture industry as it relates to inventory stocking levels/timing of orders.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and speech.
- Ability to work independently, with little oversight or guidance on a daily basis.
Working Conditions
- General Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
- Physical Activities:
- Reaching, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, and Repetitive Motions.
- Visual Acuity:
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (includes inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
