Job overview

The goal of this position is to provide work experience for you to build your expertise and proficiency in the agricultural equipment industry and customer service, as well as to enhance your problem-solving abilities. It is the responsibility of Hutson to provide direct, on the job supervision which includes orientation of the company’s structure, operations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Senior Vice President of Asset Management maintain key customer relationships.
  • Communicates with dealership personnel (Parts, Service, Integrated Solutions Manager, etc.) when needed to answer customer account questions and ensure customer account needs are met.
  • Learning equipment assessment protocol and process and assisting asset team with these solutions.
  • Assisting other members of the Asset Team as needed.
  • Adhering to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
  • Adhering to company policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
  • Assuming personal and professional responsibilities for his/her actions and activities.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth.
  • Utilizing a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within the profession.
  • Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.
  • Foster a great place to work environment, encouraging accountability, open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving the customer.
  • Participate in all business and/or department activities related to ensuring the customer experience is positive.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills, internet function, and typing skills.
  • Willing to learn new concepts.
  • Self-motivated and eager to take on new tasks.
  • Verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently or with other employees.
  • The ability to communicate face-to-face.

Additional requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card is required.

Working Conditions

  • General Physical Requirements:
  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, Standing, Walking, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, and Repetitive Motions.
  • Visual Acuity:
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (includes inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
