Hutson, Inc. is committed to the health and safety of our customers and employees. With rapid changes surrounding COVID-19, we're taking measures to support our customers this spring. Our 12 locations will remain open, providing parts, service and equipment to keep you running. We'll keep you posted on this page with our latest updates and resources.

Parts

Our parts department will continue to fill orders. Here are some ways we can serve you while minimizing person-to-person contact:

Order Parts Online: You may order parts online through the Hutson Customer Portal or by using the chat function on our website.

Over the Phone: Call your local Hutson store to order and pay for parts over the phone.

Curbside Parts Pickup: When you place an onder, we'll coordinate a pick up time and bring the parts right to your vehicle.

Parts Delivery: Stay inside, we'll bring the parts to you. Make sure to ask about delivery when placing your order.

Service

Our service department will continue to operate, but customers will not be permitted in the service area. Our team will coordinate a time to pick up your equipment. Here's how you can schedule a service:

Request Service Online: You may use our website to request sevice online.

Over the Phone: Call your local Hutson store to schedule over the phone.

Equipment

Our sales team is still available by phone, email and our website chat. We also have a strong online presence to assist with all your equipment needs. Need to buy equipment? Here's how we can help:

Request a Quote Online: Find the equipment you need on our website, fill out the 'Get a Quote' form and we'll work with you on a custom quote. Our online sales team is prepared to handle your needs remotely.

Buy Online: Don't want a custom quote from our team? We've added a 'Buy Online' link on eligible John Deere equipment pages so you can go through the entire process start to finish.

Free Delivery: We're offering free delivery on new John Deere equipment. This includes mowers, Gators, and compact utility tractors.

Our online sales process

  1. Browse our inventory: Browse our new and used inventory online.
  2. Find the one: Find one you like and either:
    1. submit a ‘request for quote’ form online,
    2. get in touch with your salesman,
    3. or buy online.
  3. Ask questions: Our team will answer any questions and appraise trade-ins digitally.
  4. Apply for financing: If financing, fill out a credit application online and we'll get in touch to discuss details.
  5. Pickup and delivery: We’ll arrange a time for pickup or delivery of your new equipment. Get free delivery within 25 miles of our stores on mowers, Gators, and 1-4 Series compact utility tractors.

The decisions for this spring are now drastically complicated given the rapidly changing situation with the spread of COVID-19 and its attendant health threats and control measures. Hutson, Inc. is committed to putting protective barriers in place to assure a COVID-19 free workplace. The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our number one priority. We are fully prepared for the planting season and our 12 locations will remain open to support both our farmers and ag retailers. It is essential to keep our farmers operational with the parts, service and equipment they rely on from Hutson for our country’s food production.

Effective Monday, March 23, all our locations will have reduced entrance/exit availability. The entrance/exit location will be clearly defined at each store to prevent any confusion.

  • We will continue to offer parts pick-up areas outside of our dealerships and our parts specialists will be accessible to handle your needs via phone and/or the customer portal with free shipping that adheres to our Hutson Customer Portal (HCP) protocol.
  • Our service team will continue to function in a normal capacity, but customers will not be allowed into the service area.
  • Our inside sales department will be available to arrange outdoor viewing and test drives of our equipment. We also have a strong online presence to assist you with any equipment needs you may have and our free delivery offer for compact tractors, mowers, and gators will continue indefinitely.

We fully understand this temporary change is going to be inconvenient. Please be patient with us as we continue to navigate these unique circumstances together. We appreciate your business and we will do everything possible to make it a safe and successful year for all involved.

Beginning Monday, March 23rd all support staff and management will be required to work remotely for a minimum two-week period. Only location staff will be present in the stores, including parts and service departments, turf customer account managers, lot coordinators, office coordinators and delivery drivers.

Yes, we're open!

Business as usual, but with NEW enhancements to make your experience with our team stress free during this difficult time.

Hutson takes cleanliness seriously. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are significantly increasing our sanitation and disinfectant efforts to ensure we protect the well-being of both our employees and our customers. However, we are still the same wise, rugged and good-natured bunch that we always were before this craziness.

We've created several options to make your experience and your interaction with our team worry-free.

Not comfortable coming into our store? No problem. We'll come to you with curb-side delivery.

Not comfortable leaving your house? We have you covered. Order your parts through our Hutson Customer Portal and we'll deliver them directly to you.

Does the rain have your grass out of control? We have the mower you need and it can be purchased 100% online. We'll make sure it's delivered to your front door. If that's not enough, we'll pull it into your shed for you too! Shop mowers here.

Bottom line is that Hutson is here for you. We want to make your experience with our team as seamless and safe as possible. Outside of a direct order from the government, our door with remain open.

Our first priority is to ensure the health and well-being of the people on our team. Our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace is a top priority and is continually evolving to address all the challenges our company might face.

Action taken to date:

  • Educated staff on COVID-19.
  • Engaged HealthWorks to provide employee site location training on prevention and control.
  • Ceased employee training through April 30.
  • Ceased employee travel not considered business necessity.
  • Implemented frequent cleaning regimen throughout the day and end of each day - disinfecting Fpublic contact areas (showroom, parts counters, service desks, keypads, doorknobs, etc.).
  • Posted CDC posting 'Stop the Spread of Germs' in bathrooms and break areas.
  • Made hand sanitizer available in service shops, each parts counter and break areas.
  • Shut down community popcorn machines, coffee and water stations.
  • Required sick employees to stay home.
  • Recommended social distancing methods to employees (staggering break/lunch times and maintaining a minimum 6 feet distance).
